The science behind "good" coffee

 

Description:

  • Understand the processes involved in, and the science behind brewing coffee. 
  • Explore the factors that impact the taste of coffee, such as grind size, water temperature and brew time.
  • Experiment with the different factors, rinse and repeat!
  • Workshop will be conducted using the simplest of methods - the hand pour, but participants are welcome to bring alternative brewing methods to try.

 

Duration: 

  • About 30 minutes presentation
  • 1 hour experiment
